We want to empower our customers by giving them the same resources we use to provide service & support.*

We’ve divided them into 3 groups below:

Low-cost Resellers

(Why pay premium retail costs when you can save $$$ on the same products from these resellers?)

Newegg

Newegg has to be one of the best-kept tech hardware secrets. They’ve been crushing retail hardware pricing before Amazon even existed. We’ve been ordering computer components, peripherals, monitors, and more from them for years and they are outstanding. Just use caution when ordering from some of their 3rd party affiliates.

B&H Photo

Don’t let the name fool you - they are one of the best resellers for Apple products out there. They regularly out-price competitors and they provide solid service.

Amazon

The list wouldn’t be complete without the monster-of-all online stores. If you need it fast, this is the place to go. On occasion they will even out price Newegg or B&H Photo. Again, just use caution with their 3rd party sellers.

Costco

If you’re looking for a new laptop, desktop, or computer peripheral, Costco often has great options. Even better, they provide longer warranty terms at no additional cost and have the best return policy in the business.

Software Support

(Windows errors, program/application errors, smartphone issues, tablet issues, etc.)

Google

The #1 go-to tool for software & hardware support is Google. Performing a search on the error message you are receiving, or a written scenario (such as ‘Windows 10 laptop logon delay’), is an excellent way to find answers. Technicians, home, and business users alike use Google to answer their questions on a regular basis.

Apple Support

Everything Apple - iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, iOS, MacOS, etc.

Microsoft Support

Everything Microsoft - Windows, Office, OneDrive, Skype, Surface, etc.

YouTube

Often times a Google search for answers will pull up YouTube video links. YouTube has an endless supply of instructional and troubleshooting videos.

Hardware Support

(Hardware errors, device conflicts, device compatibility, driver/firmware updates, etc.)

Google

The #1 go-to tool for software & hardware support is Google. Performing a search on the error message you are receiving, or a written scenario (such as ‘Dell Optiplex 7010 beeps but won’t boot’), is an excellent way to find answers. Technicians, home, and business users alike use Google to answer their questions on a regular basis. Often times Google will take you directly to the hardware manufacturer’s support pages.

Consumer Reports

While they do require a paid membership, Consumer Reports does an excellent job evaluating major manufacturers of printers, PCs, laptops, and more. We take their input on product reliability and support very seriously.

Dell Support

We’ve worked with Dell’s laptops, desktops, and servers for more than 20 years. Their support easily trumps the other manufacturers (particularly with their business line of products). We often recommend Dell’s business line of computers and laptops to our home and business customers.

Lenovo Support

Lenovo makes some of the best business laptops on the market, and have remained one of the best manufacturers for several years. Their Thinkpads have won numerous awards and are an excellent choice.

HP Support

HP still makes solid printing solutions for the home and office. We’ve worked with HP products for 20+ years and still recommend them for workgroup/high-capacity printing needs.

NVIDIA Support

Hands down the best, most consistent graphics card processing solutions and support. Others would argue for AMD/Radeon graphics cards and the lower price point, but we prefer what the majority of developers use in their workstations.

Tom’s Hardware

Seems like they’ve been around for ages evaluating computer hardware and providing great insight. If you’re looking for product forums and/or reviews this is a great site.

CNet

CNet has an endless supply of computer hardware reviews.

iFixit

The most respected resource for small device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) repairs. They offer an extensive library of FREE repair videos and tutorials. We use their tools and part replacements regularly for device repairs.

*Disclaimer: While we do recommend the resources on this page, we cannot vouch for all of the content you may come across. There is an endless stream of very helpful information and well-priced hardware out there, but sometimes even these suppliers (or associated 3rd parties) will provide poor quality solutions. Knowing this is why we offer our services - so we can help customers make well-informed decisions and support them when things don’t go as planned.
